Metamorphosis was an exhibition which conveyed a dialogue between Anna Galea (MT) and Dante’s La Divina Commedia.
Emerging in the wake of Dante Alighieri’s 700th anniversary since his death, Metamorphosis is an exhibition which aims to convey a dialogue between the works of Anna Galea, Dante’s paramount writings in Italian literature: La Divina Commedia.
This exhibition parallels the journey of Dante’s journey in his La Divina Commedia, with the transformative journey of Anna herself as an artist. These paintings transmit an aura that evokes a presence throughout the premises of the Società Dante Alighieri – a presence that ultimately invites the viewer to ultimately reflect upon their own personal metamorphic journey.
